Is this ram supported on the intel H81 platform?

Solution
interesting. no reason it won't work on an intel board. in the past amd liked to use higher voltage ram than intel did. so it was usually labeled as amd ram. this ram is 1.5v which is rather high considering most ddr3 was 1.35v. this may be why it is specified as amd ram.

check your motherboard for what it supports. it may or may not support 1.5v ram. if it does support the higher voltage ram, then you're good to go. otherwise you'll want to look for the lower voltage stuff your mob can use.

if you're not sure what it supports, post the specific motherboard model and can look it up for you.
