hi, i just want to be certain this RAM will work in my motherboard
https://www.ebay.com/itm/8G-2-x-4-G...ktop-non-ECC-DIMM-240-Pin-f-F1M8/263605093903

my motherboard is an ASRock G31M-GS R2.0. manual says "Supports DDR2 800/667 non-ECC, un-buffered memory"

I can see the ram is non-ECC, but i'm not sure how to tell if its unbuffered or not

also, it says "compatible with AMD system". i've read on here and a few other sites that there is no difference between "intel DDR2" and "AMD DDR2", is this correct? they will fit in my RAM slots fine right?

the manual also doesn't say anything about requiring low-density RAM

i just really want to be sure this RAM won't cause any issues before buying it, in the past i've installed a RAM stick that just emitted a burst of smoke before my motherboard never powered on again because i didn't do proper research first

thanks guys

By chip count, it's non-ECC.
By PC board layout and chip population, it's un-buffered (Non-Registered).
By spec, it'll work on your MB.
By price, it's not a big risk.
thank you sir, bought em. when they arrive i'll update this thread because googling this question gives really vague answers on every link
