Question Is this really a ct8g4dfs824a crusial ram stick?

I compared your photos to some other online photographs...

The module does not look right to me.

Can you add a photo of the other side?

What store did you buy the RAM from? Knowing the source is important - there may be related reports of of counterfeit products that got in the supply stream...

If you have not done so, do not open the RAM. Keep the receipt.

I got the parts at my country only store topocentras.lt
The store is located all across the country so you'd think it's all good and dandy

Also i was able to track it down to this https://www.alternate.co.uk/Mushkin...e-8-GB-DDR4-2666-MHz-RAM/html/product/1461530
Using the code on the acual circuit board. Is it any good? Or should i try getting some other ram if i return these.

Seems a bit more positivie.

I suggest waiting a bit longer if you can do so.

Hopefully there will be some other comments regarding the module.

You could also contract Crucial:

Maybe a live chat will find someone who can help verify that the memory module is legitimate.

The option thereafter is to carefully check the source vendor's return policy regarding RAM modules.

If doubt remains, then return unopened and find another product.
