Is this redirecting?

Whenever I conduct a search from my google homepage, the results are displayed on other engines that pop up such as Dyma. I am also getting some other weird popups. When I logged on this morning there were five small, blank explorer windows on my desktop. This all started happening when I set up a limewire account. I have since removed limewire but while on firefox my searches get redirected to these unfamiliar search engines. My microsoft security scan is doing nothing. I would like to avoid purchasing security software if possible. Any advice?
