Is this result from crystaldiskmark normal for my Western Digital 240 GB SSD?
sequential read=207MB/s, sequential write=200MB/s

SSD=wdc wds240g1g0a-00ss50

I knew SSD had around 500MB/s

"SATA port" does not tell us which specific port it is and its capabilities.
"IDE master" has nothing to do with SATA.

Possibly this is a SATA II port?

Sure seems to be running in the 200 MB/sec range, classic SATAII spec...

(The drive will only be capable of 500 MB/sec speeds when utilized in a mainboard with ports that operate at that speed. Older boards had the original SATA spec 1.5 Gbps, SATAII (3 Gbps)and modern SATA III (6 Gbps, tops out at 550 MB/sec transfers with overhead)
