Is this rig ok

My question would be can this rig be ok using it on a power surge bar alone, or should i invest in a battery backup?

Its a very good rig, but r u really sure 670 4gig card? I have a feeling if u want a 4 gig card u
better off with the 680

I did the specs from a 670 4gb to a 680 2gb and the difference was about 5-8% better, and to the 690 was about 10%, Couldnt justify spending almost 200-600 more for just a maybe 10% upgrade.

Plus i figure with the way i built it and my wattage for my psu i should be well within my overhead if i wanted to upgrade later, i think with everything in my machine i should have about 200 extra watts.

You dont need 4Gb Vram unless you plan to go Syrim with HD textures everywhere and on 3+ monitors.

Get a 2GB 670. 4GB is useless on a 1920x1080 monitor.

I said 1080P. 3+ monitors have higher than 1080p

Well there no different on inch, it about resolution, 1080p with 2gig vram is fine,

4gig if u play at 2560x1920 resolution or dual or triple or quad Or six monitor set up, xD
2. If u play heavily moded game like skyrim or crysis etc.

The only point for u to still buying this card is for future game in 2013 or 2014 game *MAY* use higher vram

I did buy it for the future considering how technology changes so fast, i didn't see the difference really in a 680 2gb or a 690 except price.

Figure even if its 4gb, i can comfortably run it without putting nay extra stress on my machine.

Could do a 7970 GHZ set up instead of the GTX 670 route. Theses cards are superb for multi monitor set ups.

ok i have a random question as far as power supply units go, I bought corsair v2 850tx my question is, what kind of bottom ventalation should i have in order to keep it from running hot.

I called corsair and thisis a bottom fed intake that sucks air from underneath and blows it out the back, i am worried about over heating and having less efficiency, is a table top fine?

And what would cause it to heat up fast because i know with this new psu i'll be able to pump 70amps and my rig might get to 40 on the safe side.

If this wont mind u, its fine, u will probably need to upgrade this card on the 800 or 900 series, if nvidia want to name their card this way,

About ur psu, i dont really understand table top?
Logically, the heat from bottom mounted psu usually come from the case itself, case cant provide enough or adequate air to the psu,
Secondly, i suggest not to put ur case to near to a wall, i mean the back side.

If you wont game at 3+ monitors get the 2Gb version or 680 (if you like NvidiA) or 7970 Ghz Edition.

Well not a problem. My PC is siting on the top and the PSU is intaking cold air.

Dont worry about your PSU. Its just great !

Well the case that i have have 2cm space (or 3 max 😛 ) from the table and it stays cool. So no need to worry
