Is this rig suitable for CPU OC?

you may run into a need to flash the bios up to rev 3.0. I've also come across people complaining about the board having some bios issues. Typically the UD3 line IS good with overclocking though... you SHOULD be fine for an okay overclock, just check on the bios having to be updated or not before recognizing that cpu.

Yeah, as long as you properly install the cooler and position your fans around the case (and have enough of them) then it should be good.
But be warned that AMD CPUs reach higher temps that Intel ones under similar conditions, so expect it to be warm, depending on how far you overclock it. Hope this helps!

what do you mean? i upgrade to 3.0? I thought 3.0 was another version of my motherboard.. please don't judge i dont know anything! :)

this is what i had downloaded when i first bought it

If you don't know how to flash your board with the latest bios, please don't attempt to overclock your cpu. You can cause serious damage and throw hundreds of dollars in the bin.

First grasp basic knowledge then attempt the overclock. From the pic you posted from the HW monitor, no there is nothing wrong, but there shouldn't be bcause your're not even stress testing your computer so what is shown there is absolutely useless to an overclock. THe idea of HW monitor is to monitor your core temperatures while using a stress testing program such as prime95.

the pc was lagging even while i wasnt playing games, so i went to Bios and put "Optimized Defaults" . i hope it's back to normal now :S
But the only thing that bothers me is that before overclock , there was a red flashing message in bios that said "Voltage not optimized" (BEFORE overclock when everything was working great), but now , after i got optimized defaults setting, it says "Voltage Optimized" with green letters instead of red. Should I worry?

ok i removed the mb battery and placed again then the only thing i did was to set some CAS timings etc ( that i had done when i first bought the pc) and thank god memory is back to normal. I dont want to OC any more lol
