Question Is this safe to do?

So I wanna quickly swap out my SDD for another and I don't wanna get to the hassle of removing the power cable for it so I just take out the SATA cable and switch it to the other one while leaving the original one with only the power cable attached, Is this safe to do?

And the second drive will also have a SATA power cable?

Leaving a drive with only the power cable is OK.
But if you're in there anyway, why not just disconnect it? The cables are right next to each other.

And do NOT do this with the power on.

Are you trying to do this while the PC is still on? -- NO, Don't.

If you're doing this while the PC is off, then leaving the SSD with just the SATA power wont do any harm.
