Just making sure this isn't going to blow out my CPU. it seem stable, with my temps never in excess of 45c, but i want to verify that with the experts.

Try that overclock with lower voltage. 1.56 is a little high. The over clock is fine but consider lowering the voltage to 1.5 or lower if you can get it there. You should be able to get around 1.4 on the 8350.

I got unlucky in the chip lottery, Im afraid that 1.56 is the lowest i could get stable, any lower and a couple cores error out in P95. is this detrimental?

I would back the overclock down a little so you can get lower voltage. Too much can severely shorten the life of your processor. Try to get it down to about 1.5 and you should be good. Your temps look fine though.
