Is this set up good for Battlefield 4?

I'm wondering if this Set up is good for running BF4, seeing as how my weaker set up Ran BF3 and got 60FPS(2007-ish era gaming pc).
AMD Phenom II X4 925(2.6Ghz, quad-core)
8GB DDR3 Ram
768MB Nvidia GeForce 8800GTX PNY Stock OC'ed.

I'm asking this because my old set up(Dual-core 3.0Ghz, 4GB DDR2 RAM, Same GFX Card) Ran Battlefield 4, but it used up pretty much all the RAM and CPU Speed.
I also play CSGO extensively and it ran at 60-350FPS On my old set up, without the frame limiter.
So, i hope i don't need a new graphics to run BF4

That's true, but they also said that about BF3 being heavy on a GPU, and i get 45-60FPS with it all on medium, or 60FPS constant all on low(Settings editor helped).
And you'd be amazed at how many game's i can run that have a 1GB VRAM requirement.
I'll use SR4 as an example, says i need 1GB VRAM GPU With DX11, 5.0 pixel shaders, etc...
I get 30-120 on multiple setting's.
Next, as an Example is the GPU/CPU Intensive game, ArmA 2.
With my old set up, i was surprised to get 30FPS. Dual Core 3.0Ghz(No Hyperthreading :c ) 4GB DDR2 RAM,
and same gfx card.
With this set up though, i was getting 45-75 depending on the area.
As well as depending on if it was the DayZ ArmA 2 mod, or the actual ArmA 2 game.

When i get Battlefield 4 completely installed, i'll reply back and let you know the result's.

first off arma 2 and 3 will run better with a 3.5ghz duel core than a 2.8ghz quad if both are using the same architecture. Bf4 on the other hand uses as many cores/virtual cores as you can throw at it. Higher clocked cores are even better. You want a minimum of 8gb system ram and minimum 2gb video ram. Your Phenom II X4 925 should be good for 35 to 45 fps provided you overclock it a bit (aim for 3.5ghz if possible). The 8800 isn't going to give you a "happy" gaming experience. Im speaking from experience. I built myself a gaming pc specifically for Bf4. i7 4790k, Gtx 780 3gb sli, 16gb ram. Played over 600hours bf4. Then I decided to buy/build a bf4 machine for my brothers so we could game together. i3 4330, 4gb ram, gtx 750 1gb. The game had frequent pauses until I install another 4gb ram to make 8gb total. The 1gb video ram gets used up very quickly. Even though the gtx750 has a good average fps on medium to high, there's too many pauses/stutters due to the ram limitation and so has to be played on low to medium in order to not throw the damned thing off the balcony. Just my experience. Hope this helps

Well, considering it was a 3.0Ghz Dual-core and not a 3.5Ghz... there's some speed loss there, secondly...
3.0Ghz X 2 = 6.0Ghz.
2.6Ghz X 4 = 10.4Ghz.
Now, overclocking may help some, but i'm not risking burning out a better cpu than my old one.
With game's like ArmA 2 and BF3/4, CSGO. I set them to use 3/4 cores. Also, i disabled my CPU's Core Parking. Gave a boost to the frames.
Not to mention as well, 8GB of DDR3 RAM is faster than 4GB of DDR2 RAM. So that help's run games a bit better.
and my GPU, for it's age, does get some kickass Framerate's lol.
I mean, if i was building a PC, aimed at BF4 or... the new Battlefront, i'd get a beefed up system. But, i'm broke and this is the best i got. lol

"3.0Ghz X 2 = 6.0Ghz."
"2.6Ghz X 4 = 10.4Ghz." This is a terrible way to calculate processing power. It's more like: 3.0Ghz X 2 = 3.0Ghz X 2. And 2.6Ghz X 4 = 2.6Ghz X 4. Therefore, if we take Ghz alone as an indication of speed, then, a game that is only coded for one thread will run faster on the duel core than the quad. Does this make sense? In the same scenario then, a game that uses two threads will still run faster on the duel than the quad. Fact of the matter though, is that the architecture, the clock speed and the amount and speed of cache and many more factors all play an important part in what makes a cpu fast. Overclocking simply makes the cpu faster than it was. Ghz is useless in comparing cpu speeds(unless if they're the same or similar model).
Above is just some general information to help better understand cpus.
You asked: "I'm wondering if this Set up is good for running BF4"
As it is it will play BF4 fine if you set the graphics low to medium. The 8800 was an awesome card in its day and I believe it remained a strong card for much longer than many that came before and after it. Whats holding it back is the limited ram. I played a few round on my brothers previous pc (think gt210 and c2d E7400) with everything set to low including texture resolution (it looked absolutely shit) and running at about 25 to 30 fps. Thing is though, I still had loads of fun. And your pc is way better so I'm 100% sure you will have a great time playing bf4 provided you don't go too crazy with the settings.
