Hey there, I just wanted to know if this spec I'm mentioning below is balanced or not. If not, then what could have been adjusted in which way?

Here's the specs.

Inter Core i3 6100
Gigabyte G1 Sniper B7 (B150)
MSI GTX 1050 Gaming X 2G
Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2400 (8x2) Total 16 GB
Thermaltake W0422RE Litepower 350W

This is just for learning purpose only. Hoping to get some informative comments and responses from some really great people.

Thanks for your time!

what do you mean by "balanced"?

it's an older low tier CPU,
older low speed memory,
with an older low tier GPU,
& with a low power rather unreliable PSU.

i'd say it's pretty "balanced" towards the low end of the performance spectrum.

that really depends on what your usage will be geared towards.

if gaming, large video or image editing, or doing any intensive work related tasks;
than EVERYTHING could use a good upgrade to more powerful, more modern series components.

if you're just web browsing, using basic social media, just using for media(video, audio) playback;
than it should be okay.

Balance is a mostly futile concept: some workloads are more CPU-intensive while others are more GPU-intensive and a stronger GPU lets you pump out more details at higher resolutions before the GPU becomes a significant bottleneck, especially when using a weaker CPU.

The concept of a 'balanced' pc is a cpu that works roughly as hard as the gpu, on average. As pointed out, some games are more cpu and some more gpu intensive, but on average they'll be roughly equitable. Your pc is roughly equitable in ability, a pc with a 3080/6100 or a gt710/6700k would not be.
