ok hopefully this helps you

ok so all of that would fit in the case too?

that is a little pricy would XFX ATX12V/EPS12V 650W Power Supply P1-650G-TS3X work instead

It will work just fine. XFX units are well-made and reliable. However it's more expensive than the TS 550W... how can you say the TS 550W is pricey when that 650W is even more pricey? Just something I'm wondering.

I just did a quick search and it said that was cheaper than the other. so what would you recommend that is cheaper than the one you originally proposed?

Sorry for the late reply.

That Sentey unit looks to be just fine, if a bit overkill for a single-GPU rig. However when I say this, I mean that it is only okay in terms of specifications. The unit is very new and it seems that it hasn't been reviewed by the PSU experts yet. The result is that I can see nothing about that particular unit on the PSU Tier List, so I can't advise on you on that unit's level of quality or protection circuits. I can see those details on Sentey's website, but I trust the PSU experts first.

Spec-wise however, it is way, way more than enough for your build. Like I said, overkill.

In response to your previous question, I can't in good faith recommend a unit that's below ~$55. The reason for this is that any power supply below that price like is likely to be a low-quality (and possibly dangerous) unit.

It's a decent unit - it's basically a rebranded Seasonic G series PSU. I think better would be something more along the lines of the EVGA G2 or the Seasonic X series. Wattage depends on a number of factors such as future GPU expansion.

I would say that is about half true - there's some very solid units below the $50 range - Seasonic sells a few of them, and the lower wattage EVGA GS series retails for the $50 - $60 range, and those are rebranded Seasonic units as well. The Antec Earthwatts series are also excellent units that retail below the $50 range. I say if you're unsure about a power supply, go to jonnyguru.com or Hardware Secrets. If they say it's a good unit, buy it. If they say it's junk, don't touch with a 10 foot pole.

lol thank you guys a lot for your help
