Is the below source legitimate? I read the following post which suggested this is a good source for windows 7 product keys.

the post:
http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/get-cheap-windows-7-8-license-now-upgrade-windows-10-free/

source:
http://www.bonanzamarket.co.uk/listings/Microsoft-Windows-7-Home-Premium-OEM-32-64-BIT-Download-Delivery-/262362237

My build already went over budget so I want to quickly and cheaply get a valid product code, as I can not transfer my license from the old machine.

The reviews do seem concerning.

If I get the OEM version it would be linked to my motherboard, and others wont be able to take it off of me, would they?

From my understanding, microsoft no longer sell windows 7. I have to buy it from a third party, the only question of importance is how to get a legit copy for cheap.

G2A is a completely legitimate site, its like ebay. The windows keys on it work but are not technically legal. Ill admit, i bought a few without realizing they are illegal and they work. I even get to upgrade to windows 10. G2A is a marketplace that has completely legitimate deals on it, but this is technically illegal. You won't get caught if you do get it though.

I also don't think i am allowed to recommend it on this forum.

Last year, a user here reached out to Microsoft, inquiring about G2A being legit or not.
Unequivocal "No".

Ask yourself this....and maybe ask them..."How can you sell a £85 product for £26.24?"

If it seems to good to be true, it probably is.
Just last week(?), a user here bought a 'key' from one of those sites. Would not activate. At all.

i hve used 3 keys from g2a and haven't had a problem. There is also g2a shield to protect you for about $1. Again g2a is legitament. I have bought many games off of it and they all work. Not a single issue.

<Edited by Moderator> ...is also good.

And the guy selling 70" Sony 4K screens in the Walmart parking lot for $75 is also legit.

As far as never having a problem? Ask these guys (Games, but a similar situation)

You want an OS? Buy a legitimate one from a legit retailer. Yes, it costs more. For a reason.
If you saw 16GB RAM online for $20, what would you think? Legit? Of course not. Same here.

Again, I have purchased 4 keys and have used 3 of them and windows which i downloaded from a legitimate disk recognizes them as real keys. I've even heard that you cant update to windows 10 unless you have a legit key but i have the icon in the corner asking me if i want to update. And g2a is a safe mainstream website that is recommended by well known youtubers and even has an Extended Validation certificate. Its like ebay. There will be bad sellers but if you get protection then you don't have much to risk.

I'm not 'scared'. I just have a very critical eye, and a LOT of experience, and know when something is not quite right, or too good to be true.
You can continue to delude yourself, though.

I have actually purchased these keys and they have not failed me yet. They are currently running on 3 different PCs that i used official windows disks to install windows. I have been using them for over a year and they show no signs of not working and allow me to upgrade to windows 10.

I have experience in buying this exact product and you do not.

Ive only gotten keys on G2A though so I wont say anything about the other sources.
