Is Software geeks safe to buy a Windows 10 licence key from?

Also, I've already downloaded Windows 10 pro, so if I buy it, can I just use the key on its own to activate windows, or do I have to install the new windows via the link provided?

Be careful. Some Volume sellers of keys will over-sell their keys. OEM keys sales are probably OK and the biggest problem with them all is the fragility of this scratch off thing they send that exposes the key characters. Retail keys are the safest as they are from MS directly and can be replaced if damaged. Volume and OEM keys cannot be moved from the original PC. Retail keys can. A motherboard is considered a PC in this context.

Is that site OK? ...probably. He is probably just dumping his Volume keys.
