Solution
1.all modern ssd-s are sata3. there will be a small performance drop due to sata2 only on the motherboard, but still much faster then any hdd.

2.easiest if you're comfortable is to unplug the old hdd, install a clean windows on the sdd, then plug the hdd back and start reinstalling your apps again.

3.yes

Thanks +Best Answer,
One thing though :)

1) I heard I need to enable AHCI? Is that a must?
@ 2) should I just unplug the Sata Transfer on the old one and leave the power in?
@ 3) (sorry for asking lots) after I install windows on my SSD do I blank the HDD

1. it will work without it, but shortens the life span of the ssd, since you do a clean install no reason not to set it ahci in bios (it's tricky if you want to ghost the current hdd to activate it, but on clean installs it's very easy, just enable and install)
2. doesn't matter, unplug one of the connectors to the hdd while you install. (doesnt matter which one really) and then the windows install will see just the ssd to install to. (it's important to do this btw)
3. no, if you have stuff there you can keep it, to save space you can delete the windows and program files folders after that. the hdd will become D or next free drive letter on the new install, all the data will be there you can keep and/or delete as needed.

forgot a step, after you plug the hdd back after the install, you may need to change the boot order in bios and set ssd before hdd.
