Is this System a good buy?

I have to upgrade my old PC and this is what i came up with, do you think this is a good system?

MOBO: MSI Z170-A Pro
GPU: MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X 6GB
Power: Corsair CX-500W (80+)
RAM: DDR4 16gb 3000mhz cl15 DIMM Predator (2x 8Gb)
Cooler: HyperTX3i,3DirectcontactHeatPipes,Quick-SnapFanbracketdesign.CompatiblewithIntelLGA115X/775
Box: ATX Cooler Master N300 N2 USB 3.0

And will this PC run the RAM at 3000 MHz or will the RAM run slower due to the CPU?

Yes everything is good except the psu, which is terrible, and the cooler, which is mediocre at best.

Yes you can enable XMP and the RAM will run at 3000mhz.


What country are you in? I can help make sure you're getting the most for your money.

I'm from Portugal. This build will cost, with 2 year warranty and insurance, around 1000 Euros.

I don't know what PSU to buy instead that is around the same price, any advice?
And what about the Cooler Master Hyper 212X, is it a good Cooler?

Could you also help me with something else? For this system i'm using a LG Flatron W2243S Monitor with only a VGA port (yes i know it is old), but the gtx 1060 does not have VGA, to play at 1080p will it be good enough to buy a DisplayPort to VGA adapter?
