Is this temp fine for my cpu

Hello i just bought a new motherboard and a cpu(Core I3 3220)
And i used prime 95 to test the temperatures.It reached 75°C.Is that bad it has only been going for 10 minutes can it go worse.And by the way i havent download the drivers yet.

Prime is a worst case workload. Intel Ark is indicating that 65.3 is the max case temp. So you may want to stop running prime.

Are you using intel stock HSF? If so check the mounting. I had a lot of trouble getting mine to seat correctly. I despise those push pin clips. Also verify the thermal material is making even contact.

Okay so it turns out it was not mounted correctly ckuld that be it?.Can it be driver issue?Also i used a pretty ceappy thermal paste but it was fine with it before

Getting the current driver may help as well as it may offer performance optimizations. The mounting issue is probably your root cause.
