Is this the best build for the money

Solution
You can improve on the cooler and the power supply. Since this is a windowed case I would still get a Corsair Power supply because you can buy braided cables for them from most vendors. Get a Corsair AX or HX series PSU between 650-800W.

In terms of the cooler, you can fit a 280mm AiO in the top. I am assuming you want to overclock, so a bigger cooler means less noise. I think Swifttech makes the best AiO's on the market at the moment.
If you are set on water cooling, then you have a great build there. I`m just not sure if the H100i doesn`t come with it`s own paste.

Also, if you have some more money, for a slight difference SLI GTX 970 is a big bump in performance over the GTX 980.

And regarding the RAM, I would go with 2x8Gb, just in case you want to add some more later on for some reason.

Anyway, that`s a beast of a build! Have fun with it!

I don`t hear now days about SLI problems with newer cards in games.
And since the 2-way SLI scaling is around 85-90%, this would be a great performance boost.
Anyway, if you have the money, you can just add another GTX 980 later on, but for this I would change the PSU to an 850 or 1000W PSU just to have some headroom for upgrades and OC.
