Is this the best I can do for my budget?

I want to build myself a nice PC, here is what I'm getting; I'd just like some feedback and maybe pointers to better/more cost effective materials.

*Tower Case: NZXT Guardian 921 RB ATX Mid Tower Case, Black 921RB-001-BL

*DvD drive: Lite-On 24X SATA Internal DVD+/-RW Drive Optical Drive IHAS124-14

*Hard Drive: WD Blue 1 TB Desktop Hard Drive: 3.5 Inch, 7200 RPM, SATA 6 Gb/s, 64 MB Cache - WD10EZEX

*RAM: Kingston HyperX FURY 8GB 1600MHz DDR3 CL10 DIMM - Blue (HX316C10F/8)

*Graphics Card: PNY XLR8 GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Cards VCGGTX750T2XPB

*MotherBoard: ASUS M5A78L-M LX PLUS AM3+ AMD 760G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

*Processor: AMD FD6350FRHKBOX FX-6350 FX-Series 6-Core Black Edition

*Power Supply: EVGA 500W 80PLUS Certified ATX12V/EPS12V Power Supply 100-W1-0500-KR

What I want to know: Will this all fit in the tower, is it all compatible, and can it be made better for the same price?

I wanted to post links to amazon for each item, but I am not sure if that is allowed or not so I refrained. I appreciate any help I can get!

The case is nice mate - has 3 fans & a fan controller .
I originally thought it was overpriced but you have $15-20 worth of fans included.
The stock amd cooler is incredibly noisy & will completely spoil the build.
The tx3 is in budget

I would normally pick the zalman cnps5x over this but it should be $20 IMO not $25

They'll both let you push 6350 speeds on your 6300 (I prefer the zalman but if its out of budget then the tx3 will do the job)

We can sort over clocking out by pm...

You're saying all these things add up to same total, are compatible, and better than what I had?

the 6300 is $20 less than the 6350 (its slower but not significantly so - its exactly the same cpu but factory clocked at a slightly slower speed)
the ds3 board is $21 more ( the board you listed is fairly poor mate, the ds3 is hardly high end but a vast improvement over that one)
so we're a dollar down at present
the 270 is 50c more than the 750ti you listed ( & about 15-20% more powerful)
the ram I listed is $2 more (but its cas 9 & will run in dual channel mode giving you a further performance boost)

I never worked out your total mate (I assume you have prime membership hence the amazon listings??)

the changes I made were $3.50 more expensive (on amazon at least) & disregarding the drop in clock speed on the 6300 will give you a lot better gaming performance for that paltry amount.
You could likely hit 6350 clock speeds on the 6300 with the supplied amd cooler fairly easily ( I would honestly recommend an aftermarket cooler for any fx chip though if you have any budget left??)

I'll go with your suggestions, but how do you overclock? and also, instead of my tower will this one work better? http://www.amazon.com/NZXT-Phantom-Tower-Gaming-Case/dp/B006I2H04I

And, does a tower exist that has built in cooling so I don't have to buy aftermarket cooling?

The original links added to $560, highest I can go is 600.

We can sort over clocking out by pm mate once you're up & running ;-) you really have no need though the 6300 is entirely capable of pushing that GPU at stock speeds.
