Building an ITX rig and the ram needs to be under 40mm. Found this kit (8GBx2 2666 CL13) for $91 dollars. A bit pricey but for gaming and the occasional video editing I figured spending more is pointless.
Doing the math (13/2666)*2000 = 9.75ns with an MT2666. Any higher bandwidth give 10ns or higher and testing shows Skylake shows no real increases past MT2400.... So in the real world this memory should perform the best given my low profile limitations. Is this the right thought process or not?
