Is this the last MS OS?? What then?

I read somewhere that Win10 will be Microsoft's last OS, if this is the case which OS/Company will take its place after it's gone?

Apple is going to take over with windows 11.

As i understand it Windows 10 will be something like Office 365.

It will still be called Windows 10 but will always be updated, just like Office 365.

'Last', as in named version. They're not closing down or anything.
This Windows 10 will just be continuously updated, instead of a procession of XP-Vista-7-8-81-10.

Eventually, it will probably be known just as "Windows".
