I recently (2 weeks) ago assembled my computer:
Motherboard: Nvidia nForce 659i SLI ATX
Video Card: GeForce 8800GTS 320 MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP
CPU : Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 Conroe 2.14GHz LGA 775
Memory: OCZ Flex XLC 2GB (2x1GB) 240 Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR 800
I have Vista. After working fantasticly for two weeks, yesterday my computer started taking forever to open programs (takes more than 2 min to open Internet Explorer). After a program is open it rans fast. I thought that it might be the RAM but I tested the computer by plugging same ram from my brother's computer and it has the same problem. So I narrowed the problem to CPU or Motherboard. FYI - I have only 1 game on my computer (World of Warcraft), and I use my computer primarily for that. I have not installed any other software on it, and I have not downloaded anything or have been to any sites other than regular news sites. I also re-installed Vista (went from 64bit back to 32bit the problem persists).
Thanks.
