Is this thermal paste good enough?

Hello, everyone;

I have recently ordered this:

For this build:

CPU:Intel Core i7-4790K
MOBO:Gigabyte ga-z97x Gaming 5
GPU:Gtx 980 Gygabyte Gaming 1
Cooler: Phanteks PH-TC14PE CPU Cooler
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3, 1600MHz, 16GB (2 x 8GB), CL9
HDD: WD Caviar Dark 1TB
SSD: 850 EVO
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2
Case: Nzxt H440

My questions are these:


1.-Is the Thermal Paste it comes with, good enough or should I buy another one? I don't plan on going crazy with the OC, just some mild OC.
2.-I read some reviews saying that the cooler blocks a couple of RAM slots on the MOBO, and/or that is is too low and leave very little space for the RAM sticks to properly fit. Is there a specific brand of RAM that you could recommend me that is good quiality but low enough to fit in here?

Sorry for all these questions, guys, but I really, really want to learn. This is my first build, and I'm a little nervous. So I came with the best.

It will work just fine their very little differance is all of them performance wise and really not a good way to even test the performance since each time you apply it it could vary.

Companies would not put crappy paste with a higher end product. It should be fine.

As for memory, just watch out for memory with tall heat spreaders.

This post on another forum seems to show that your memory(Corsair Vengeance Pro) should fit, but it HAS to be installed first or the cooler will block it.

1. Supplied paste is fine.

2. Vengeance is just a brand name, and fancy coolers are mostly for marketing.
There is no performance advantage except for the highest ram overclockers.
Save yourself any possible problem and buy a low profile ram kit. It will be cheaper too.
