Like, its shape is interesting and it has a lot of keys. How come it's so low priced? It's not mechanical? What's a membrane keyboard?

It's not mechanical. Membrane keyboard is just a standard switch type used in the cheaper keyboards. It's a membrane dome setup, you can look that up online to see the difference. I had a similar keyboard and they are good quality and feel, just not mechanical feel, but some people prefer the cheaper keyboard feel anyway.
