Is This Upgrade Okay? Compatible?

I am planning to upgrade my PC Hp Pavilion 550 010il.
It's Specs : i5 4460
8gb ddr3 ram
GT 610 ( Yeah)

So I want to upgrade to - ZOTAC GTX 1050ti

And change the current PSU which is 300w to a 500w

My question is Am I good to go? are they supported? Will my motherboard support it? Can I power all the components present with the PSU?

Is the PSU okay? And will they fit?

And if yes I have a monitor with a VGA input how should I connect it to the graphic card? My monitor resolution is 1366x768.
The purpose for this upgrade is for gaming and video editing.
Please help me with this.

1050ti gpu has a Dvi-d port (digital only)

I would look for a gpu card with a dvi-i port if you want a simple converter to vga db15 input

You need to check the size of the current psu is a standard atx size
So the new psu will fit in its place.

Your monitor will be an issue if you only have VGA input on it. All current gen cards have dropped analog output entirely and don't support VGA without an active adapter to convert the signal from digital to analog. If your monitor has a DVI output, I strongly recommend just buying the appropriate cable to use that. If not, you'll have to buy an active adapter, which can be a bit pricey, or look at last gen cards like the GTX 900 series or R9 300 series cards, those do still support analog output.
