My video card is dying (artifacting when it goes over 70c) so I want to spend under $600 to upgrade
My current system is

CPU-Phenom II x4 965 black
MoBo- MSI 870A-G54
GPU- MSI R9 280X GAMING 3G
RAM- Kingston generic ddr2 1333 4Gb x2 (8 gigs total)
PSU- Antec HCG750w
240gig ssd
1tb W.D. HD

I mainly play World of Warcraft on 3 1080p monitors and can average 30-40fps on high settings most of the time, I would like to upgrade the CPU, MOBO, RAM, and GPU and was wondering if this would be a good choice and would I possibly be able to play on ultra? (I will be reusing the hard drives, case, optical drive, PSU.

AMD- FX-8350 wraith edition
MSI 970 gaming motherboard
GSkill Ripjaw X Series DDR3 2133 8Gb x2 (16 total)
Sapphire Radeon R9 Fury 4GB

To Clairify

I'm only replacing the GPU,CPU,MoBo, and RAM, the rest of it is already in my current rig

Solution
You can do a better upgrade for the cost.

Memory: G.Skill NT Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($99.99 @ Newegg)

Go with 2x4gb (8gb) if the cost needs to be lowered.

Solution
Ya, maybe the others didn't understand, I'm only upgrading the CPU,GPU,MOBO, and RAM, that I5 upgrade looks interesting or should I hold out and save a little more for a 7700K, I'm starting to see them drop under $300

Then replace your GPU now, and wait a few more months for Ryzen to force i5s' prices down. You may also try to re-seat your GPU cooler with brand new thermal paste, if it really had overheated it would show the checkerboard of doom even at lower temperatures (from my own, admittedly limited, experience with a couple fried cards).
