Is this viable as a gaming laptop?

Hi, to start off I know barely anything about laptops or PCs. I bought this laptop a few years ago and it has not failed me. My son wants a gaming laptop so he can go around w/ it, but I don't want to junk this laptop for no reason. Here are the specs on it. Will he be able to play basic games on it that don't use a lot of requirements?

What kind of games does he play? The CPU is capable, but what about the graphics? Does it have a dedicated GPU, such as an AMD or Nvidia graphics?
