Hi all,

I just built a SFF PC, but I have issues with monitor disconnecting randomly and losing signal when I am plugged into the GPU. Integrated graphics works just fine. Once the signal disconnects, it never comes back, and the only temp solution is to lay the case on its side. I saw some.people telling me to reseat the card and check the riser cable, and I saw part of the pcie connection is missing. Very slight, but could this be what is causing my issues? And if it is, can I return this for a new one?

Here's a picture of what I'm talking about: View: https://imgur.com/a/B47Rkac

Here are my specs:
CPU: 12600K
GPU: EVGA 3080 FTW 3
Mobo: gigabyte aorus ultra z690i ddr4
Cooler: EVGA CLC 280
RAM: G skill trident z 3200 MHz cl 16
Storage: 1tb WD black sn 850
Case: SSUPD meshlicious

Solution
According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PCI_Express#Pinout, that's a Sense pin, so if there is a problem with it, it'll just cut the PCIe lanes it uses to 8x instead of 16x

However looking at other pictures Wikipedia has of cards, it looks like that pin being shorter than the others seems common:

Nothing to worry about. They're made like that.

The PRSNT1# and PRSNT2# pins must be slightly shorter than the rest, to ensure that a card can senses if it is fully inserted in the slot.

Thanks for the response. Really didn't want to wait 2 weeks for Amazon to ship me a new one. However, I am still having the problem where the GPU does not display. It is very inconsistent and I am not able to pinpoint exactly when it loses signal because it sometimes does not boot at all, sometimes I get to log into windows before losing signal, and other times I use my PC for a bit before losing signal. Integrated graphics works fine. Am I missing some bios setting or Nvidia graphics setting? (I have the 5.12 Nvidia driver installed)

Please stick to one thread.
