At GoGamer.com they have the following deals:

Super Strategy 4-Pack for $7.90, includes Risk 2, Civ 2, AOE Gold, Majesty
Gold. I already own Civ2 and AOE Gold, and Majesty but not the Majesty
exapnsion and not Risk 2. Worth $8?

Blitzkrieg $9.90. What is this about?

Combat Mission: Beyond Overlord $7.90. Is this original CM? Did they ever
patch it to have a decent interface?

Etherlords II $4.90. I'm pretty sure I'm getting this, I liked EL1, so...

War Times $4.90 Anyone play this one?

Maybe, if you like Axis & Allies style of games there is soon to be released
World at War by Gary Grisby.

It's revamped engine of Sudden Strike by Nival yes it's new game but clone
of Sudden Strike, those who play it says it's OK, I just played few missions
(got CD's from CDV long time ago :). There is rumor that actually Nival is
working on Heroes 5 which they denies until press release :)

This is great game. Interface is not that bad Knight ...well.

That's the second one in the series and the user interface is the same
as the first one. Not the best GUI, I agree, but it's a great game and
the price is right.

Might pass on it. Still never finished Sudden Strike.

I haven't played it since the 1.0 version's demo, like forever ago. I was
just wondering if they ever improved it. It was amateur-time back then.

I occassionally do a review or two. I just did a preview of Dungeon Lords
you can find at http://www.gamechronicles.com

Totally not a strategy game. :)

"Beyond Overlord" is the first. The second is "Barbarosa to Berlin".

Right you are. I just checked my game folder and I have the special
edition of "Barb to Berlin". I do have the first one too but not
installed at present. Never did buy the third one, holding out for the
4th edition with the new graphics engine. These games really need an
OOB more than a better GUI though.

Same here. When friends come to me to play some Heroes 3 WOG (which is
excellent!) in hot seat many times I told 'em - "I have Russia to conquer in
HoI 2" lol

You are righ, hiting ESC will get you to the desktop. In later games they
improved the interface somewhat. In first game I got trrashed in PBEM so I
just played against PC. :)
