I am new to rig building, and recently came into a bit of money, I alway's wanted a good PC and to build it myself and after about an hour of putting parts together, this is what I came up with, money isn't really a factor, but I need to know if it's worth the costs ($2,003.24 USD) and if all the componnets i listed are all compatable, I know this forum has alot of very computer friendly and smart people that's Why I am asking here. Thank you very much!

I am purchasing it all at Tigerdirect.ca, I used them before and I find them easy to deal with.
I put the link to the product in brackets at the end.

Sorry, I didn't mean I was rich, lol. What I meant was that that build at 2,000 wasn't an issue for me, as in if someone said that this build was not the best due to it's price, then it wouldn't be an issue as long as the build in itself was ok.

sorry should of clarified that a bit more :)

haha ohhh ok.

try something like this:
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.519451 ==> Intel Core i7-930, ASUS P6X58D-E, OCZ Gold 6GB DDR3 1600MHz
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.529738 ==> SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 5970, OCZ Gold 6GB DDR3 1600MHz
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119197 ==> COOLER MASTER HAF 922
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207003 ==> XFX Black Edition 750W 80 PLUS SILVER Modular PSU
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835106150 ==> Thermaltake Frio
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827136180 ==> LG 22X DVD Burner
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152185 ==> SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 1TB

You don't need a sound card, since the on-board sound is perfectly fine. So this build gives you 12GB ram, a 5970 (better than crossfired 5770s) and an i7 which is superior to the x6.

Taxes and shipping this comes out to $2,112.48 (Canadian) with an additional $75 (US) in mail-in rebates.

Thanks for the help guys, I love that build, but I live in canada and Newegg.com will not ship to me :(

There's a newegg.ca (canada) out there too and I'm pretty sure if they are Canadian based, they ship to canada. :D

Try looking up the parts listed from http://www.newegg.ca/

IMO -- good builds but I'd swap out the i7-930 for the i7-950. It's a small price increase because the 950 has been repositioned (repriced) to replace the 930's so the price difference is small ($6 in the US compared to $19 Canadian between the 930 and 950). It's about the same processor if "overclocked" but 1 will be continuing for a while whereas the other is hitting discontinued soon.

Just a little FYI: All of the current LGA1366 CPUs will be phased out and replaced with 32nm Westmer based LGA1366 CPUs in mid Q1-Q2 2011.
