Hello! I was recently visiting my local Walmart and saw they had a prebuilt PC for sale, usually I just manually upgrade mine but being given the GPU situation, I have been unable to.

My current specs;

AsRock Ab350 Pro4
GTX 1060 6GB SSC
Ryzen 5 1600X
16GB DDR4 RAM
Windows 10

This is the PC; click here
However, my store isn't selling it for the price they want online, they want $1,000 for it. I also work at another Walmart, so I can get 10% off of that.

I wouldn't be considering it if the GPU shortage wasn't like it is, because I really want a 3070, but 3060s are hard to find as well.

Solution
You will want to change the RAM to 2x8GB 3600mhz if you purchase it and you might want to do some research on it first to find out what psu it comes with. Other than that it doesn't look like a bad deal.

I couldn't find anything on the PSU, but it is a single fan GPU. Not sure how much that matters.

They went cheap with the Asus Phoenix. You could always build your own for the same price and with better cooling.

I want to completely build my own like I did my current one, but given the GPU situation, I haven't been able to get a GPU for a reasonable price. :(
That is what's holding me back, like a lot of people, sadly.

5700G and a GPU? Are they trying to waste money?

Might be worth getting, buying a Ryzen 5600X/5800X and selling the 5700G off to someone that wants it.

Um, I have SO MANY QUESTIONS:

Sold and shipped by Kings Leather | S&M Leather Inc

On the flip side the PC is still usable, if the GPU dies.

Personally, if you like the case you have now, and you have a good PSU, I would gut that system, put your current parts in it, except maybe your ram, and sell it off, or use it as an extra PC. That case looks terrible, airflow wise.

The only reason for a 3070 is 1440p gaming. If you are still on a 1080p 60Hz monitor, even a move to a 3060 will do nothing for you really. The parts have to match. You have a 1600x which is great for lower fps games, and does decently at higher demand fps, for its age and generation, but adding a giant overpowered gpu won't do anything for fps unless the current 1060 is seriously bottlenecking the fps to the screen.

Gpu is for eye candy. If it can match or beat fps output from the cpu, great, if it can't then you lower some of the settings to get the fps you want. But you cannot actually raise fps. The cpu puts out whatever it will, per game.

I am aware. I was going to buy new monitors to get the full advantage of the GPU. I want to upgrade everything, not just the GPU. I just haven't purchased anything yet, because I'm wanting to do it all at once, whenever the GPU prices become somewhat near normal.
