Is throttlestop safe ??

Hey guys i have an intel i3 processor H61 motherboard when i play games like AC 3 it lags and i do some searches to see if i can increase the gaming experience(i only have hd 2000 graphics) and i saw some posts suggesting to use throttle stop and i saw some posts saying that it will do permanent damage i downloaded it and opened it i saw temp 39c and max 42 on various things is it safe to use will it increase my gaming please reply soon

if you're trying to use the program on a laptop, i wouldn't recommend it. as for desktops, as long as your CPU isn't throttling due to temperatures being too high, if it were me, id probably take my chances.

if the CPU is indeed hitting the maximum recommended temperature, i wouldn't use it. CPU...
It may very well damage your processor permanently if you don't know what you're doing. The damage will be irreversible, and in the event that it doesn't ruin your processor it'll lower its performance.

Of course, if you know what you're doing, then you won't damage it as long as you're cautious.

if the CPU is indeed hitting the maximum recommended temperature, i wouldn't use it. CPU throttling happens so your CPU can protect itself from dying. also, on an Intel i3 and the HD 2000 integrated graphics, i doubt you will see a performance improvement.

hello! i see your answer to the question about ThrottleStop,and i wanna ask u about my pc,if it work,i mean if will help my cpu if i use this program! My processor is a Intel B960 at 2,2 Ghz! Sooo...it will help me this program! i got 8 gb of ram and graphic card is a Nvidia GeForce 710M with 2 gb VRAM! I ask u,because i dont want to do something wrong in my pc,to overheat or things like that!
