is titan faulty?

Overheats unless i increase fan speed significantly.
Getting around 40fps average in crysis 2 maximum 2560x1600 with a gtx titan.
Apparantly it should go no less than 60fps.
any ideas?

If someone could tell me the expected fps. I had 2 580s before and was getting 55fps avg, I am sure the titan is stronger so whats the deal?

How do you know its overheating? What temp is it getting to?

If it is overheating then it is faulty and you should RMA it.

It reaches around 80C with default fan speeds.Then the fps drop a bit.
If I could know the right fps on crysis 2 everything max dx11 2560x1600 with a gtx titan.

80'C is fine and quite normal. Whats the rest of the computer spec?

Check in the game if the GPU usage and CPU usage are high.

Maybe its working fine. 2x 580 is pretty powerful, especially for older games like Crysis 2. Have you tried any other games?

Yes far cry 3 all maxed out 2560 x 1600 around 30fps
