Hi all,
ill be building a system in august, im going to be using the matx x570 from asrock as i believe its the only matx mb for x570
It comes with two slots for nvme, so im wondering if im better off with two nvme's or one, which is faster better performance etc.

The other question i have that im not sure anyone has the answer too, is, A lot of x570bs have built in shielding or heat-sinks for nvme storage,
So if you buy a nvme with a heat shield will you have to take that off to make it fit underneath the mb heat sink?

thanks all for your help, most appreciated

Solution
It's a small but noticeable speed bump to separate operating system from games and heavy read/write programs onto separate drives.

You'll have to remove heat sink from m.2 SSD if it's sold with one, which is uncommon.
