Is ultrawide worth it?

I am thinking of buying a ultrawide monitor but is it worth it? I can pick one that supports freesync with 75hz for the same price as a 16:9 144hz that supports freesync. Also, would my rig be able to get good frame rates with ultra wide? My rig is in my signature.

Well if you don't know if you can run it, or why, your rig looks like you have more money than you know what to do with. It should eat 1080 ultrawide, and do very well with 1440 ultrawide.

As for is it worth it, absolutely.
