Is upgrading ram easy?

I ordered all the parts for my new build. And then I realized I got the wrong ram. It's only 1333. So I ordered the 1600 ones. But now I have the 1333 ones, can I just put these ones in until my other ones get here and send these back? Or is it a tedious process?

You would most likely be fine, but I'd just wait for the new RAM to come in to save the hassle of installing and uninstalling.

If you use the 1333 ram you may not be able to return them. Unless the vendor policy allows. Better wait for the right ones to arrive 😛

It only takes about a half a minute or so to replace the RAM But be gentle, I've damaged my RAM before being too rough with it

Really depends on your heat sink size and ram slot locations. On my system its a nightmare because in order to change the RAM out Id have to pull the CPU heat sink. If you don't have any overhang obstructing access though its really a piece of cake to add or remove RAM modules.

My computer was a gigantic mess of cables lol, it's a pain in the ass to add RAM, I have to unplug so many cables

Then that would be a good time to do a little cable management, if cables make it hard to install/uninstall DRAM then your airflow prob stinks and things will be running hotter than they should
