Hello guys, this is my first post in here and here is the thing: I have a Z170 motherboard (which supports 7th gen cpus) and a i5-6500 and i wanted to upgrade it to a i7 7700 or K, but as i check in sites like amazon and newegg, the 8700 i7 seems to be cheaper, making me think that it would be better if i bought a new motherboard aswell. In that line of thought, if i got a 8th gen motherboard, it would need to be decent, so the question is: should i get a z370/90 motherboard and the newer processors or maybe search for an used 7700/k? Thanks, and i will post my full specs below, if anyone is curious.
