Not worth it, you already have better performance than stock 8350 now at 4.2GHz OC. And 8350 is not going to allow much more OC anyway, and runs hotter. You would need to change the platform for meaningful performance boost. Like Ryzen 5 2600/2600X.
Hey the cpu is about 10-12% better it has more power draw, The 8350 is just an OC version of the 8320 but yes the cpu is better but not by much hope this helps.

your better off seeing if there a non profit that can use your old pc and give you a donation slip thta you can use to get money back when you do your taxes. with intel and amd in a new cpu war there dropping faster cpu now so fast that going wiht older cpu and ram not worth it anymore.
No not worth it to upgrade to FX 8350 or any processor on the AM3+ platform. Cheaper entry level Ryzen 3 and Coffee Lake i3 processors are vastly better. Don't waste your time and money.
In terms of performance you'd be much better off with an old i5 3570K which is the same age as the 8350 but a whole lot faster. I bought this i5 processor for about 100 USD and the MSI Micro ATX MB for it for about 50 USD.
