Question Is using a molex to PCI power adapter safe?

I just purchased a gtx 1070 but in the pictures, after I bought it I realized that my PSU didn't have 2 8 pin PCI cables. I bought a 2 Molex to 8pin adapter and am wondering if this will be safe to use?

Specs:
i7 3770k (not overclocked)
Zotac AMP GTX 1070
500w Antec EA-500D
14gb DDR3 ram
