Question Is using one 6 to 8 pin adapter okay for the rx 56 vega?

My current psu is the thermaltake tr 2 500w. Since this psu only gives one 6 + 2 pin pcie and one 8 pcie pin while the 56 vega requires two 8 pin pcie I either need an adapter or a new psu. Would it be safe to use an 6 to 8 pin adapter?

what are you talking about , your psu has 2 x pcie (6+2) pins connectors

AMD RX Vega 56
Specs page shows a power supply recommendation of 650 watts.

I wouldn't consider using your current power supply with that card. You should upgrade it first.

You need a new PSU. Using a low quality PSU like that TR2 to power a card like the Vega RX 56 is not likely to end well.

You use the 6 and the 2 to make another 8 pin. The GPU itself si 210W.
550WPSU is listed here. But quality does matter. Get a decent 650W would be a good idea.
