Is utorrent safe?

Hello, I am deciding to install uTorrent to download Unigen's Heaven Benchmark. I do not intend to use or download things from Illegal sites. Is it safe? I ran the installer, Windows said they protected my PC but I allowed it anyway, and when the installer ran, It said malwayebytes blocked a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program), maybe a toolbar or something. Is it safe to use?

I'm a bit worried my PC is infected now.

And should I allow it through my firewall? Will it bring viruses in?

No, utorrent is 100% safe as long as you don't download copyrighted files. (movies, games, music, etc)

It's safe to use utorrent assuming you getting files from a reliable source. I have download heaven 4.0 to utorrent as well and it's really no big deal

I use bittorrent and haven't had any issue. Although when Installing it does want to install the yahoo toolbar. Just uncheck that from the installation and you'll be fine.
