Is Value ram ok for gaming?

Is value ram ok for gaming? Is value ram ok for gaming or should I spend more and get some 'better' ram? I am planning to buy an identicle stick to make dual channel to make my value ram even faster. Is this ok?

it should be just fine, but its like 2-5 bucks less expensive than some of the other, more popular sets of RAM, so you should just get the better one and forget about it. RAM in a gaming PC is not that important.

By the way, 2x2GB or 2x4GB is depending upon the other components in your PC, which is foreign knowledge to me at the moment.

There's no big different in game between value ram and expensive one. But i suggest you to buy dual channel kit if you want dual channel ram to prevent incompatibility.
