[SOLVED] Is w10 transferable ?

Hello everyone,
I am buying new PC. Can I use my w10 licence from my laptop on new PC ? I am using w10 education version. I was thinking if there is a way to deactivate licence on laptop and activate again on PC. If it is possible.

In theory if you are on educational license and still going to the school you should be able to get an educational license for the PC....there are many factors that could cause that not to be. Chances are strong that you are not going to be able to just swap a laptop entitlement to a PC.

You'll need to contact your school, they will be able to tell if you can move it or if you'll need another key.

1. Buying a "new PC", a new Win 10 license is maybe 10% of that total?
2. Transferring an EDU license is 100% up to your school
3. You may be able to get another EDU license from school
4. If you 'transfer' that license, then the laptop will be without a OS license. What are the plans for that laptop after?
