Is waiting for haswell worth it?

I have 16GB of RAM 750W PSU and THOR V2 case, sent back mobo (defective) and sold CPU to a friend for $150. I want to get a 3570k but haswell is supposed to come out in june, and my birthday is june 7th so i might get like $50 and that's when school is over so I'll have a job and free time. So should I get 3570k now or get a haswell in june? or even 3570k in june I'm sure price will lower. I know it's all preference but I heard it will be a new socket type and I don't know if I should get LGA 1155 only for it to be out-dated.

Wow I would go crazy if I were to have to be without my computer for months. I know that I couldn't go without a system for that long. As far as a price drop on the Intel® Core™ i5-3570K I wouldnt count on it, based on past experience when we release a new processor we simply stop selling the old processor so demand for the old is still high while the supply is dropping. Look at the Intel Core i5-2500K after the release of the Intel Core i5-3570K it is still going for the same price it did when it was new.

Depends on when you need the new PC. I would wait for haswell. Right now I'm trying to build an AMD PC because Haswell is coming in June (kinda need one now). But in June, I'm gonna build a Haswell one.
