[SOLVED] Is Windows 10 slower and more demanding than Windows 7?

Since I bought my Asus laptop that came optimized for Windows 10 I've been wondering if Windows 7 was less demanding on the hardware than Windows 10 and also faster to use.

What is your experience with Windows 7 and 10 in this aspect?

Your Asus laptop is a Dual Core, HDD and 4GB of RAM or 8GB?

It will be as fast as the hardware that you have. For both Windows 7 and Windows 10.

Windows 7 and Windows 10 both have the same requirements.

A 1GHz CPU. 1GB for 32Bit and 2GB for 64bits. 16GB space 32bit, 20GB 64bit. Directx 9 GPU.

What they don't tell you is "If you have a SSD, 8GB of RAM and a quad core or more it's gonna be faster".

Windows 7 had a good run and should only be used in a VM or on old hardware.

I've seen zero difference, across a wide range of hardware.
