Is windows 8.1 is a bull shit

i have a hp laptop and my specs are as follows
intel i5 4th gen
4 gb ddr3 ram
2 gb nvidia geforce gtx 820 M graphic card with windows 8.1 pro os
while playing assassins creed black flag it lags like shit i can't even play it for a minute.......and also while playing sleeping dogs definite edition. all i thought is that my ram or graphic card is in problem but when i asked to hp service they are saying that the game you are playing may be not compictable with windows version i have.....then i cheked the minimum requirements of this game i came to know that non of these games were supportable to win 8.1.....it is then were i got weired.....so please tell me a solution to solve this problem

It's your hardware that would be the likely cause not windows.

You need another 4gb ram mate really - laptops are generally weak at games - the 820m is pretty subpar - low to medium max 720p.

Win 8.1 is the most efficient os by miles when it comes to CPU overhead & ram usage.
