Is worth upgrading on old hardware?

Specs:

Intel Core Quad: Q9660
Nvidia Geforce 9600GT

I know that with the 9600GT I can't get any DX benefits as it supports only upto DX10, but is there anything else that makes it worth upgrading to Windows 10?

Yes - - it's free for up to 12 months after launch date. That's got to make it worthwhile, Microsoft has never given Windows away in it's entire history until now so get it while you can.

If you find it won't run on your existing hardware you haven't lost anything.
