Well that actually sounds like you just lost the silicon lottery so to speak, or the "rma lottery" perhaps. I mean look at how many complaints in reviews you see of like high end motherboards like the Rampage extreme's or the X99 Deluxe etc.. lots of horror stories of multiple RMA"s and stuff. But does that mean that ASUS mobos aren't the best out there...
I don't see where there no better or worse then any other brand .. they all got there good and bad all you can do is read up on the item you want compare it and check the user reviews then hope the part you order anit the lemon .. that's with any brand [opinion] just like powercolor folks can give them a bad rap but so far there items I used so far been good for me no complaints..

Hello, thank you for your inquiry. I think XFX is a great company, however, I represent XFX so my opinions are grossly biased.

When it comes to AMD graphic cards the only company that's better is Sapphire, and they're also more expensive most of the time. So XFX is the best overall price/performance you can get. Gigabyte is also a great company as well, but their Nvidia cards are better than their AMD ones.

its a shame I cant say that from my last 2 sapphires -- not good at all replaced them with a lowly as called powercolor and I was impressed .. I also always had used sapphire cause they were the go to AMD card guys but, that has changed for me now and brings me back to what I posted above

I will admit that Sapphire isn't as good as they used to be though, but they're still a top grade AMD gpu company.

And in regard to your problem TC, i would honestly not recommend you to get an R7 260X, it's not a very good card for that price. I'd say you should get at least an R9 270 if you plan to do any kind of gaming really, they're much better than the R7 260X and not much more expensive.

This is a link to the best R9 270 you can get, the Sapphire Vapor-X, $159 after rebate

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202111&cm_re=R9_270-_-14-202-111-_-Product

Or the Sapphire Vapor-X R9 270X for $10 more, $160 after rebate

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202059&cm_re=R9_270x-_-14-202-059-_-Product

A step down, but still very good is the Sapphire R9 270 Dual-X, $144 after rebate

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202090&cm_re=R9_270-_-14-202-090-_-Product

Or, an even more powerful card with slightly less cooling is the XFX Double D R9 270X, $149 after rebate

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150686&cm_re=R9_270-_-14-150-686-_-Product

Or if you're really on a budget and can't afford to go that high, you can still get a very decent quality XFX Core edition R9 270 for $129 after rebate. that's only $18 more than the R7 260X and it's literally about 35% more powerful!

very very very biased
I went for xfx with a 7950 dd ghost at 2 year 2 mouth and it burnt out, I think the parts used are very cheap? and How can vendors like XFX with over 10 years have different warranty policies depending on what part of the world you are from lol.

The support in my case as a customer was very bad! this is an example...( I can only suggest you to find a local repair or consider another card) yes it is out of warranty but wow.
I would advise against xfx
From my experience Asus, sapphire, and yes powercolour are ok never had gigabyte or msi, I still have an old sapphire 4870 and 5830 going strong unlike the xfx 7950.

Sorry mickw1,

The reason our warranty is so strong in N.America is based on many of factors of course. Without offending other countries, ill just say that the N. American consumer market is so strong, it allows for certain liberties we cant afford to risk globally in all countries. Not to say some individual countries don't deserve them, or could be more profitable, just on a global scale, this is the decision that's been made so i've got to support it.
