is zogis gt 970 compatible with intel DH55TC?

im thinking on buying a zogis GT 970 4gb gddr5 256 bit pci ex. 3.0, and i want to know if my old (but battle veteran XD) intel DH55TC can handle it? and if it is compatible, also i'd like to know if i can increase the memory with 2 x dimm ADATA 8gb pc 1333 ddr3 plus 2x 2gb kingston 1333 ddr3? atotal of 20 gb cose when i looked at specifications at intel's web it says "Support for up to 16 GB of system memory" thank you

The Zogis GT 970 is compatible with Intel DH55TC board.



RAM
The board has four RAM slots.
Maximum RAM supported = 16GB

So simple arithmetic tells you that each slot supports up to 4GB (16 divided 4 slots = 4).
It should be obvious therefore that you cannot use 8GB RAM modules on this board.
If you could, the total RAM supported would be 32GB, not 16.

You can only use 1GB, 2GB or 4GB RAM modules in other words.
