Does the IS7 board support the 1mb L2 Cache Prescott?

Currently having trouble with my board, giving me a message that the cpu is corrupt or damaged, tried on 2 IS7's and same problem on both.

with a current bios (flash to the newest, I'd say), the board is supposed to
support the current 478 pin Prescott offering.

you are entering the bios setup and setting the CPU and other items and then
saving and exiting and you still get this error?

Which PSU do you have? - a cheapo PSU might not be able to supply a
Prescott with enough power to get it stable..

I got the same message on IS7-E and after I flashed the latest BIOS version
it stopped showing the message.

But I have other problems with that low quality BAD motherboard. The
microphone input is very noisy with lot of clicks and strange noises, So I
will go back to the store and replace it with an asus P-4P800SE.
After this experiance I will never buy ABIT again.

they have the microphone input problem for a year and they still didn't
solve it.
